Blood and Sand
Named after the classic 1922 Rudolph Valentino film Blood and Sand, this is one of the few classic cocktails to use Scotch Whisky. The ingredients work perfectly together however to create a delicious balance to this essential cocktail.

25ml Scotch Whisky (A blend generally works better than a single malt)

25ml Freshly squeezed Orange Juice

15ml Rosso/Sweet Vermouth

15ml Cherry Brandy

Combine ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker and shake well

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass

Garnish with a cherry and twist of orange peel
